Mann Island itself consists of two angular edifices stunningly formed in black granite and is situated on a World Heritage Site once famed as the start and finish point for pioneers, emigrants and explorers. We saw our opportunity, and took it. We named the two buildings ‘Latitude’ and ‘Longitude’ between which fell the ‘Equator’ – a central public area, and then built our campaign strategy around this. So, ‘Life to a greater degree’ was created, referring to views, angles, compass points and a yearning for something better.
Rolled out across a multitude of channels including print, digital, PR and interactive applications and social media, the marketing strategy gained immediate traction and resulted in Mann Island being the fastest selling development in the north of England.
I've worked with OnFire over the last seven years as Marketing Director of Crosby Lend Lease and also in the same role now at Countryside Properties. Their work for mixed use schemes at greenquarter and Potato Wharf in Manchester and Mann Island in Liverpool has always been highly creative, original, strategically led and ultimately highly effective.
