Rushbond Group is re-launching the iconic Majestic in Leeds and we’re proud to have been chosen for this high profile building.
Prominently located in the buzzing heart of Leeds and directly opposite the railway station, all eyes are on this Grade II former cinema that is a landmark building. Especially that as a flagship scheme for property developer Rushbond, the Majestic is yet another prestigious property in their impressive portfolio.
As you can imagine, the pressure was reallyon us to create a campaign that was every bit as impressive as the property itself. And every bit as unique, as we realised that we needed an equally iconic strategy and creative approach for the Majestic’s marketing material both on and offline.
We found inspiration in the building itself and took style cues from its art deco history. This perfectly complimented Rushbond’s plans for the building as they intended to restore it using their trademark creative approach and build on its heritage to create a stunning piece of architecture that’s sympathetic to its past.
Richard Baker from Rushbond plc said; “We’re all delighted with the new approach OnFire have taken. They’ve shown a real understanding of our vision for the building and created something which delivers a fresh and creative approach that reflects the rich heritage of the building and is completely aligned with our objectives.”
Karl Larkin, Creative Director at OnFire said; “It was a real privilege to refresh such an iconic landmark building. The final creative is a real testimony to Rushbond and their continued commitment restoring our architectural heritage. As residents of Leeds, it’s really fulfilling to be involved with saving iconic buildings that we’ve grown up with and knowing that we’ve done our bit to help ensure that future generations are going to be enjoying them.”
