The Pit:
Following our pitch winning work for the Banyan Bar in York, we were delighted when our new client, Arc Inspiration, asked us to help them launch their latest venture, The PIT in Leeds city centre. A bar cleverly named after its underground location, the American BBQ pit style of food and Yorkshire’s proud mining and industrial heritage.
Our approach, was a supercool industrial look from head to toe. From stylised branding, interior and menu designs to their very own beer called ‘Pit Canary’, we gave bar a real gritty edge.
But, we didn't take ourselves too seriously, adopting a strapline that’s altogether more playful. ‘Mind Your Head’ is a nod [pun intended] to the health and safety signs you might see if you were going underground, and also a gentle warning about overindulging!
