From Spice to EnServe: an enbelievable branding project
Spice was one of the UK’s leading providers of infrastructure support services to the utility and energy sectors. They still are… but now, after Of Creative’s rebranding, EnServe look set to take on the world.
With an enviable turnover and a respected Fortune 500 listing, Spice was a big name. With a total rebranding of the group, including all their divisions of Water, Electricity, Energy and Billing, together with further branding requirements for a large number of sub-brands, the project was huge. But as ever, the team at Of threw itself into it wholeheartedly, working closely with the Directors, staff and key stakeholders to produce a brand that all concerned, and most definitely, we are very proud of.
EnServe is the new name, the basis of which provides the platform for an informative new of ‘Energy. Environment. Engineering’, explaining to an increasing audience, the key sectors in which the group operates.
In addition to our thinking on the branding, we concluded that the common theme amongst all the divisions with EnServe was ‘Energy’, both in terms of physical commodities and attitude – which gave us the idea of powering up – a very positive message. Visually, we executed this power concept in the ‘E’ of EnServe and subsequent strapline and online wayfinders as powering-up progress bars that may be seen on anything from online devices to actual machinery and electronic equipment.
So far, our work for EnServe has taken in the new name, visual identity and website and we’re now implementing the new brand on the group’s annual report.
