Branding is Childs play for OnFire

We int zaggerating when we say we’re cock-a-flippn’-hoop wiv ar latest branding project. That’s because OnFire were recently commissioned to create the brand for the queen of reality TV and star from The Only Way is Essex, Amy Childs.

After a beauty parade and a multi-agency selection process, OnFire were chosen to create the TV star’s brand identity and a range of associated brands. We didn’t have to look too hard at ourselves in the mirror to ask if we were up to the job due to plenty of experience in the booming and highly competitive beauty sector.

Following a meeting with Amy, the agency’s designers set to work on defining a visual identity that summed up the star’s personality and was also appropriate for the multiple other business interests she also now has as one of the most in demand people in UK TV.

The resulting brand incorporates a contemporary mix of glamour and style and is also used to front Amy’s new salon. The salon, which is located in Brentwood, Essex offers an array of beauty treatments including; Crystal Clear Facials, Nail Treatments by OPI, Nail Harmony and Bio Sculpture, Waxing, HD Brows and of course the now infamous Vajazzle. We’ve been beavering away at getting the whole look and feel just so and we hope that Amy is as delighted with the results as we are.

OnFire look forward to working with Amy much more in the future as her product ranges increase and, due to successful branding, demand continues to rise amongst her current fans and future customers.

Karl Lakin, Creative Director at OnFire, who oversaw the rebrand, summed up the feeling around the project, “To be asked to be involved with such a high profile star was really exciting and Amy really threw herself into the project. I guess it’s great testament to the standard of work we are producing in the beauty sector that we were asked to be involved.”
